God has graciously allowed our congregation to raise almost three times the amount we raised last year in this initiative. Praise the Lord for his work through his people!
UPDATE: October 4 - $74301 raised so far with one more day to go. If God brings in another $80, we will double last year’s total!
UPDATE: September 20 - $62920 raised so far. Two more weeks to go. Praise God!
The current total funds raised for the 2008 Liberty Godparent Home Baby Bottle Initiative stands at $36220. We are nearing our $410 total raised in last year’s campaign, but we’d like to beat that total this year.
Help OFRBC reach our 2008 goal of $500. Fill your bottles with that spare change and help Liberty Godparent Home provide care and help to unborn children, newborn babies, and their mothers.
Contact Kim Gelina for more information or to get a baby bottle to fill with your change.
Liberty Godparent Home’s Statement of Purpose
The purpose and objectives of the Liberty Godparent Ministry are to change one life and save another. Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing a comprehensive plan for care and development for each young woman involved in a crisis pregnancy is our goal. Our strategy is based on Christ’s unconditional love and mercy. Our heart is to minister to each young woman without regard to race, color, economic status or religious affiliation. We will provide alternatives to abortion while offering crisis pregnancy counseling, a residential maternity home and a child-placing agency that ensures a source of comfort and support. The end result is to save innocent children from abortion and to help young women become morally sound, mentally strong, physically independent and spiritually courageous.

We are holding Bible Study in our home on Sunday nights. We have had one person come so far. Last night the 5th we had Bible study as a family. Our guest didn’t show. We aren’t discouraged. In fact I think we are encouraged.
God is using this time to strip us of our preconceived ideas about ministry. He is teaching us to depend solely upon His word. He is building a foundation, starting with our family.
Thank you for praying for us and for encouraging us with your words and deeds. We love all of you.
